Step into the heart of the Amazon and elevate your photography to the next level with our exclusive Photo Weekends at the Suriname Wildlife Sanctuary ,guided by internationally acclaimed wildlife photographer Matthijs Kuijpers.

Nestled in 5 hectares of pristine secondary rainforest in Slootwijk, Commewijne, bordering on an indefinite rainforest, our sanctuary offers intimate access to a world few ever see up close: rare reptiles, amphibians, insects, fungi, and more — all in their natural environment.
